Garlic - Butter Rolls ..



Ing for dough :

All purpose flour : 1 and half cups
Active dry yeast : 1 Tspn
Sugar : 1 Tspn
Salt : 1/2 Tspn
Unsalted butter : 1 Tspn + 1 Tspn Extra for coating
Warm Water : 1/4 Cup

Method to prepare dough:

* Dissolve yeast and sugar in a warm water.

* Sieve flour four to five times and make dent in a center.

* Pour yeast mixture and mix well, if required add water and make smooth and soft dough.

* In a seperate bowl cream the butter along with salt, add this into dough and knead gently.

* Keep the dough in a big air tight container for 2 hours or till the dough raises double in size.

Ing for Garlic Butter mix :

Garlic pods : 2 no.s
Unsalted butter : 2 Tspn
Salt : 1/4 Tspn ( According to your tastebuds )
Chopped cilantro : 2 Tspn
Shredded carrot : 3 Tspn
Lemon Juice : 1/4 Tspn
Chopped Green Chilli : 2 Tspn

Method to prepare the garlic butter mix :

* Mix all the ingridients together.

How to Make & Bake the Garlic - Butter Rolls ?

* Apply butter to palm and divide the dough into 2 parts.

* Grease the baking dish with butter and keep it ready.

* Using rolling pin roll the dough and spread garlic butter mix.

* Roll this and cut it into 4 pieces.

* Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and allow it rise again for 40 minutes.

* In the meantime pre-heat the oven at 450 F for 10 minutes.

* Brush the rolls with butter and bake Garlic butter rolls for 12 minutes at 450 F.

* After baking again brush the rolls with butter and serve with ketchup.
